paintner
going to do a few banners and would like to make it simple by adding transfers. so I am wondering about the HOW part here. not how to do it but how to get it NOT TO SHINE. how to make it look at least a bit like it might be painted and/or not as much as a transfer. apply matt varnish under it and then over it before it drys or something like that? wash over it? ideas? tips? time wizard
Apply a gloss varnish to the banner first, then apply the transfer. This allows the transfer to be applied with no air bubles or shine under it. Then you can matt varnish over it. One other thing to note is to cut out the transfer as close to the actual image as possible so you don't see the film around it.
