phairsto Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 So, I've noticed a dearth of Grey Knights forces here so far, maybe I'll get some attention! I decided to go with grey instead of silver for the armor of my Grey Knights, mostly because I'm not too much a fan of metallic armies. Some of my primer, however, obscured the shoulder pad writing stuff on some of them, I had to make the best I could of a bad job on my part. Please be kind,I'm not the best painter in the world. I'm in the same boat as you, liking the grey instead of silver although eventually I may do a really dark silver...But I expected dark grey and was pleasantly surprised by your color scheme. Thanks for the tip on the line highlights! The way I've been painting them, I prime them grey and then do a wash with badab black, then paint grey over the flat areas again, so the recesses are still inked. The only thing that's not so good is the colour of the tiles on the bases, they are too bright and detract from the model too much IMHO. Keep up the good work anyway.
