Marshal van Trapp
in WD 375 (US) on pg 90 there is a step by step guide on how to paint the purifiers on the bottom of the page, which says as follows step 1. Paint the helmet with astronomicon grey, leaving the eye lenses black, next paint purity seals, ribbons and book pages with bleached bone step 2. apply a watered down wash of badab black to the helmet's recesses. when this drys pick out the lenses in ice blue, wash purity seals, ribbons and pages with gryphonne sepia step 3. layer 1:1 mix of skull white to astronomicon grey onto the helmet. Layer bleached bone onto seals, ribbons and pages step 4. apply final highlight of skull with to helmet. highlight lenses with 1:1 skull white and ice blue, followed by spot of skull white in corner. highlight seals, ribbons and books with skull white Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226814-purifiers/#findComment-2717157 Share on other sites
NemFX
Haven't seen it, but the way I make gunmetal blue goes like this: a drop of ultramarine blue, two drops of silver, and then add black until you get the shade you prefer. sorry i cant be more specific about that last one, its really all up to what you prefer.
