radens
I was playing with new GK for the first time yesterday and my opponent put a terminator squad with grand master in a chimera that his inquisitor let him bring. Is this legal? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/226818-gk-terminators-in-inquisitors-chimera/ Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
Currently, yes. It was in the old codex as well. TDA just stops you embarking into Rhino's and Razorbacks, nothing else. It's possible this will be FAQed away, but it never was when you could ally GKT to a guard army and use thier Chimera's. Valkyrion
A chimera is a dedicated transport for a Henchman Warband, so at the start of the game only the henchman warband may be placed inside. Once the game begins your terminators can embark, but they cannot begin the game inside because they do not have access to a dedicated transport. The terminator armour rules states that models Terminator armour counts as two models, but cannot embark rhinos or razors. Chimeras are fine AFTER the game has begun. Tanhausen
Which makes sense, since ogryns can also use chimeras and they also take up 2 slots.
