Jaws of the World Wolf

Exactly as the description asks

when using jaws of the world wolf, do enemies in the line of 'fire' get to make an invulnerable save? Tonight in my game we decided no because invulnerable is against wounds, and the rules of this psychic power say to remove the model not wound. But is this right?

No save at all.

Not even Eternal Warrior works.

It just opens a chasm to eat whoever up.

Necron WBB works, though.

How? The rule says that any model failing the test is REMOVED from play. WBB works? Can you quote the page?

It's in the Faq, wbb works along with one of the sister's specials. I forget which now though.

I have to say i'm supprised that they havent covered this in the FAQ as if its come up for last laugh im very supprised it hasnt come up for jaws seeing as the effects of the two abilities are practically identical, i.e remove opponants models from play.

To be honest in a friendly environment i would be inclined to say that if wbb and celestaines special rules work for last laugh then they logically would for jaws as they both incur the same effect.

In tournament play it would be one of the questions to take to a judge before you get a game underway, at least then you will have an "official" judgement on it and it won't tie the game up with a rules dissagreement ^^

Wolf tail talisman would work though?

if the first model hit by the line has one, then i would say it does.

if a model has it but isnt the first model in line, then dead fluffy wont help them.

WLK

Actually, if I remember correctly, the Talisman also protects the squad that the bearer of the Talisman is with. That said, I think it only protects against psychic powers that "wound"... Let me find my dex...

Okay, I was wrong. JotWW would indeed be potentially nullified by a WTT, because the WTT shuts down powers that "Affect" either the bearer or the squad he is with.
