I am going to have to get a spray gun for the tanks I think. Step 1 - black undercoat Step2 - dheneb stone (2 coats) Step 3 - golden yellow (2 coats) Step 4 - gryphonne sepia wash Step 5 - sunburst yellow and golden yellow 50/50 mix (1 coat) Step 6 - sunburst yellow highlight I still need to do some extreme highlights with a mix of bleached bone and sunburst yellow but does it look ok so far? I was worried it was a bit patchy but my eyesight isn't great in sunshine and its really sunny here today. My lists looks like this - HQ Pedro Kantor. ELITES 5 Sternguard, 3 combi plasmas, 2 lascannons, Razorback with twin plasmas and lascannon. 6 Sternguard, 3 combi plasmas, 2 lascannons, Razorback with thwin plasmas and lascannon. TROOPS 5 Scouts, sergeant has combi melta and powerfist. 5 Scouts, sergeant has combi melta and powerfist. FAST ATTACK 1 Land speeder storm, multi melta. 1 Land speeder storm, multi melta. 10 Assault marines, flamer, powerfist. HEAVY SUPPORT 1 Whirlwind. 1 Predator, las sponsons, autocannon. 1 Predator, las sponsons, autocannon. Total = 1750 points. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MEanBOb Posted April 9, 2011 Share Posted April 9, 2011 I'll just say that using white primer is MUCH easier for yellow and I suggest you give a try. Your yellow isn't bad, but its pretty lumpy due to the fact you used black primer. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cambodia Posted April 9, 2011 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Hey lad looking good, but as the other boys are saying use white on the basecoat and it will mean you'll have to do less coats. I like my fists to be a brighter yellow than darker so love the white but if you do want it that darker yellow. also black primer so up the missed matched coats easier too.
