Sigmund Hammerhand
how did you do the blending on the cloak? fantastically done. The grass and snow sort of don't match with each other. Not that they're unrealistic, they just remind me of that time where the beautiful snow melts and is only left in patches. But the sun hasn't gotten warm enough to be enjoyed yet. And the time is always when everyone catches another cold. So if they were my models I wouldn't do that, but seeing as they're yours, that doesn't really matter ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/227087-ddss-space-wolf-painting-blog/page/2/#findComment-2725325 Share on other sites

You're the most compassionate gamer I've ever heard of. If you don't like your models to get a cold, I can only imagine how angry you get when someone actually has the nerve to shoot one! DeepDarkSecret
Really nice work. I'm a big fan of your basing style. Looks great. I also like the color scheme. The red is a little jarring for my taste, but I bet it looks fantastic on the table top. Where did you get the head for your wulfen model? That head actually is a plastic beastman head that I greenstuffed some hair onto. And as for the snow... lol When I envisioned this army I saw them storming a runic temple to protect some sacred relic and a whole company charging across the ground is gonna make some of the snow melt. Logans cloak is big enough to hold any battle brother and loves his men enough to share it with them if they get "chilly". He told me himself. DeepDarkSecret
Still working on these guys just haven't made enough progress to make a legit post yet... First week of the new quarter can be pretty time consuming. Prot
Looking good.... I think the big test is getting to 1500. If you can do that, you'll have a fantastic army on your hands.
