The Shadow Skies rule specifically states "Models with personal teleporters... do not take Dangerous Terrain tests... and they do not scatter."

 

So if an Independent Character, we'll use any of the TDA GK HQs as an example, were to be joined to an Interceptor unit that were to perform Shadow Skies... how exactly would the whole thing work?

 

It seems relatively obvious that the IC would have to take a dangerous terrain test if there were scatter involved... what doesn't seem obvious is whether or not there would be scatter dice rolled at all? Does the Interceptors personal teleporters trump the IC, or does the IC's lack of one cause the whole unit to have to roll scatter dice?

 

Please clarify the exact way this situation would work.

Unit do not confer its special to IC unless otherwise stated. So IC do not gain the benefit of the personal teleporter.

 

Don't know the scatter work since scatter works on a unit-base. Rule is undefined in this area. My personal take is unit scatter.
