dark angels terminator

This is a dual configuration sculpt, a first for me in that respect, by that i mean that the left hand can be either a storm bolter hand or another power claw fitted with the bolter being slung on a chain i think it turned out rather well. whats your opinion?

oh wowy...

i'm honestly VERY impressed with this model (how large is it anyway? it looks like it stands on fluffy carpet but that must means it HUGE!)

if i had to pick 3 things i liked the most, i'd have to say the crux terminatus (love the dented texture), the lightning claw claw (a lightning claw and a hand with claws? sucks to be your enemy.) and the shinguards, i like the little sculpts :D

are you planning on painting it up/basing it or what will happen to it?

cheers everyone the models about 6.5 inches high unfortunately im not going to be painting it as its off to texas shortly.

as for the wonkey position lol, well thats because it is wonkey its only blue tacked together once the chap who's painting it gets it he can fiddle with the fina position before securing it.

i just like to get a few happy snaps of my commissions before they disapear into the big wide world, they grow up so fast these days lol.

once again thanks to all for the fine comments

cheers. Cassar

i hope they will reappear painted soon...this is a real beauty....

By the way could it be that you take the Tyrants Claw as a pic für your Energy Claws ? If so stay the way and always take these claws because they look better then any other lightning claw...

Now...could someone commission a Khârn from him ???? *ggg*....Would like to see the Destroyer in big......

Carry on the good work mate.... :)

uhm, how big is it exactly?

If you look at the 3rd picture down you will see my fore finger and thumd near is left ankle that might give you a bit of the scale, also up to the knee is the sizie of the standard gw marine, roughly.

again apologies for not having a picture with a proper size comparison *slaps back of hand*

First off, this is not just a Dark Angel Terminator - it is a Deathwing Terminator! We prefer that title.

Very cool. I like the lightning claw-claw. I feel like the small shield on the belt should be turned the other way though, seems upside down. If you ever do another, perhaps you will try some robes? I don't bother with robes on my Deathwing but some do and I can't say they don't look nice.

Also, you should scale that left claw arm (or both) down to regular 40K size, I know people would love to have a matching claw for that Lugft Huron model, especially DA players that want to use it for a Belial LC base model.

My bad lol deathwing it is. as for the badges both on the belt and the besagews they where personal touches for the person who commissioned the piece, they are actually U.S. Rangers insignia. the robes are really an intrinsic part of the dark angels chapter i consider my knuckles rapped lol.

thanks for the input:)

First off, absolutely awesome. Brilliant. I'm not sure what other superlatives to use.

Secondly, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for showing me how to handle storm bolters with two handed weapons. The chain around the waist holding the SB is a wonderful idea because I don't want to do the "bolt on to the wrist" GK thing.

BnC Fraters for the win...

Keep up the awesome work!

cheers,

That is an absolutely awesome Deathwing Terminator! Wish I was the one getting that forwarded to me! I will second EPK's call for a scaled down left lightning claw in that configuration.

The tilt shield insignia looks like a Ranger scroll, but the "cod plate" is definitely bearing a Special Forces/"Green Beret" insignia, not Rangers.
