Dreadknight Question

In the Grey Knights Codex recently bought for me by my beautiful Fiance, she became a lot more beautiful after this purchase actually :P , however i have found a discrepancy i think what with the pictures in the codex look like. The rules in the army list section suggest that the Dreadknight can have two heavy weapons equiped AND a close combat weapon like the Nemesis Greatsword. Is this right or am i missing something?

Also keep in mind: contrary to what the pictures in the codex depict (and what the kit instructions say), you can assemble the thing with two ranged weapons and a greatsword/daemonhammer just fine. I have no idea why the kit says you can't put both a ranged weapon and special CCW on the right arm, but the writer was on crack.

Yeah you can put both guns on him. The question arises though, why would you? Greatsword and teleporter give you all the anti-tank/walker/I3 monster killing you need, the guns are pretty irrelevant in an army packed with psycannon and storm bolter (and free incinerators on any non-psycannon Purifiers).

That is a solid point. Only gun I'd put on it is the psycannon. Can never have too many of those, and it can be used to first pop a transport, and then charge the unit that was in it. Everything else is overkill.

Build two guns no matter what you plan to typically do with the model, in my opinion. The guns are very well designed such that they easily stay on without glue, magnets, or anything of the sort. As long as you don't glue the guns on, you now have flexibility if you should ever choose to run one or both guns.

Well, the nemesis dreadknight is cool and all but I do not think he is point eficient when comparing points vs other codex. However, giving him 2 heavy weaponds means he will clear out ANYTHING he happens to deep strike next to. One large blast and a flamer he is shure to take out what he is fighting against.
