lol yea i know what you mean. as for the poses, there was no cutting involved, just a little bending of the foot steps for the termie on the guy with the forward lean. the "dynamic pose" piece for the torso is actually a neat idea and lets you position better. i tinkered with the idea of going the "chop and repose" route, but i would've hated to try and execute something that didn't turn out right. its tough to undo a sliced knee -_-

Really? No chopping on either of the dreadknights? They look terrific. I really love the double hammered one! And the sword strapped to the back of the other is also really cool. Actually adds to the impression that it is very nearly a living, breathing creature than a simple machine. Very well done.

Out of curiosity, what rules are you using for the DKs? Does one count as having a hammer and the other a sword? Or are you playing them both bare-bones doomfists and just like the look of the kit? Or are you keeping your options open? All would work fine in my book, FWIW....

the only chopping involved was the second hammer (cut off the hand and bottom piece of the handle to glue on the proper sided hand) and the sword (cut off of the hand and bottom piece and glued them together). yea i couldn't resist two hammers :). i got the idea from the DW guy i made with 2 hammers. he involved a tiny bit more cutting though, having to dremel his arm off and all.

i haven't gotten them into games yet, but I'm not too concerned when it comes to WYSIWYG. the majority of my army is always in line, but i like to reserve the right to use a particular centerpiece to represent the loadout i want though it may not have those weapons on him (i.e. the double hammer guy will probably be a greatsword when it comes to fielding him). i don't think creativity should be stiffled simply because the model has to carry a specific gun for your list :). of course if my opponent isn't cool with it, theres always more purifiers to be added :D

the lists i've made using DK have a greatsword and heavy incinerator. for the points i think its a great load out. you could add the psycannon but i think for its mobility (im in the "moves as JI" group) the incinerator is a better choice for how i plan on playing them. they are a nice big target to distract from my rhinos, using that 30" move early to get them into the backfield to start flaming things and then assaulting next turn to keep it alive (hopefully :)). so im going to be using them as static firebase disruptors basically. i think the double doomfists may come into play if im tight on points, but having the option for S10 (yup, im in that group too) attacks or re-rollable S6 is very good for the split roll i have them playing as
