Zagman
What are you looking for from us? Feedback? Critique? Suggestions? IMO it is a good conversion, but you painting skills need some work. I think your base coats are too bright. For example, I choose to prime black, then base coat tin bits, then drybrush boltgun, then selectively drybrush chainmail, then highlight mithril. Using a dark brown before adding dwarf bronze, then shining gold highlight really makes the gold pop. henrywalker
all three would be great. he isn't painted though, literally the first layers of paint on the various areas have just been put on. i think its the camera/lighting as it seems quite dark in real life Thanks for the feedback Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/227477-grand-master-inpensus/#findComment-2725111 Share on other sites
StormTAG
Looks decent. Kind of static though. Might want to run some tubes to the Incinerator so it doesn't look like you just tacked it on. -_- Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/227477-grand-master-inpensus/#findComment-2725343 Share on other sites
Brovius
The silver looks alright, a bit thick in some places, but not too bad. Have you tried a layered approach to the gold? I use a Tin Bitz base, followed by a somewhat generous Shining Gold drybrush (halfway between drybrush and overbrush), a Badab wash, and a final drybrush of Burnished Gold. dublindawg
good conversion. The one thing that doesn't make sense to me is the com-mic on the outside of the helm. Shouldn't that be inside the helm? I would remove that as it just doesn't make any sense. I was just commenting on your base coats, they looked light in the picture. Fred Johnson the 3rd jr
My feedback is to not start two threads on the exact same topic four hours apart from each other. Imagine if everyone did that... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/227477-grand-master-inpensus/#findComment-2726021 Share on other sites
