As a whole, the paintjobs are excellent. The armor and bases are very well-done. I'm especially impressed by the split red-and-white shields; I've tried things like that before, and know it isn't easy to get them as good as you did.

The only downer is Stern's face. Maybe it's just the way the shots are lit, but Stern's face looks almost amateurish compared to your Inquisitor's face. Maybe give him another once-over if you get a chance. :)

Ahhh, Forgeworld, no wonder. Bad things happen to my bank account if I visit that site, so I generally try to stay away from it.

hear hear :P

yeh they look great! :D

whats your painting system? if i may ask?

The painting is very simple.

First: Base Coat Black

Second: Boltgun Metal (Do not Dry-Brush, Paint On)

Third: Wash Asurmen Blue (Very little on the Brush, Almost like your Dry-Brushing it on)

Fourth: Normal Wash of Badab Black

Last: Highlight with Chainmail were light would hit

DreadKnight

Those look incredible ;)

very similar to the way I paint mine although I use the asurmen blue wash as a dry brush/highlight where light hits for the aegis representation

Incidentally what have you used for the stonework on the bases?

Once more a massive thumbs up on these :)

Cool army in the making! One quick tip for the eyes: try painting a black underground and then placing 2 white dots in the corners. If you look someone in the eyes, you rarely see the white of their eyes above or below the pupil, unless they're shocked/suprised, which is what your librarian looks like. :(
