Valkyrion
(am I allowed to link to a dirty xenos vehicle?) http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-4000...-NIGHTWING.html Would this work on Blood Angels substituting the blue for red? I'm still struggling to get the red down - I have it nailed on troops because you can use washes, but you can't get away with using much wash on a tank and whilst the Army Painter red gives excellent coverage and basecoat I still can't get it highlighted up properly. So I was thinking, from black undercoat, stippling a lot of mechrite, then blood, then a bit of orange, followed by an edge highlight of a light brown (vomit, is it?). No one has done it before, and there must be a reason for that.... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/227757-stippling-red/ Share on other sites
Leonaides
I've seen BA's with a stippled effect (a long time ago in a game called Space crusade) and it can work. not sure about tanks though... Is it not easier just to break teh tank up in to smaller flat spaces and get a nice even coat over each small section, thus resulting in a nice even coat over the whole tank?
