magnetizing back packs and jump pack

Recommended Posts

Ebay sells neodymium (sp?) magnets. Just get yourself to the wargames and roleplaying subsection and look for magnets. And there are a fair few guides out there (seriously) - I'm fairly sure coolminiornot has tutorials as well as other forums. If you use search here you probably will find a tutorial or two. Hope this helps. -_-

I recently got some 2mm diameter, 1mm thick magnets (from ebay as Olisredan suggested) and they fit perfectly in the existing hole on the jump pack, so you only have to cut the peg off the back of the marine's body & drill a shallow hole to accept the other magnet. I'd recommend using something a little stronger than just superglue though - something gooey that comes in a foil tube... Sorry, I can't remember what it was called exactly!

Just make sure you get the magnets the right way round so opposite poles face each other! Hope that helps <_<

Not sure if I'm allowed to do this but there is a guy on Warseer.com (down at moment) who sells magnet sets at cost price. You basically choose what you want them for and he bundles them in to the appropriate sizes and packets.

Unfortunately, the forums are down so I can't provide a link.
