Khornate Inquisitor?

Recommended Posts

So I have this idea for a character, and I know it's never been done before, but what do you guys think? Is this possible?

I already have something in mind for the backstory, so before you get all "No, that can't happen!", just hear me out, okay?

So, let's say Kal Drogo, I mean... Kaldor Draigo, sorry, is doing his thing in the warp, you know... being more uber than the Emperor of Mankind ever imagined being, knocking down entire chaos cities all by his lonesome, carving names on daemon-primarch hearts and all that, an he meets a wayward Khorne Berzerker who was accidentally pulled into the warp in a similar fashion to himself. Now, Draigo's first instinct is to just smite this guy about the head and shoulders straight off, but what if the Berzerker was repentant, ya know? What if he said he was really, really, really sorry for all the bad stuff he had done, and wanted to come back to the good side?

Draigo, not being anyone's fool, thinks this guy might be putting him on, so he gives him a few trials, and after a little while, comes to realize this 10,000 year old traitor, who has slaughtered untold millions of innocents in his time, isn't so bad after all. Draigo thinks that, like the daemon-made axe he used to forge his Titansword with, he can stick a purity seal on this guy and call it cleansed with a capital C. Draigo even has an idea about a job for this redeemed soul since he has an "in" with the Inquisition. I mean, who better to be a Malleus Inquisitor than someone who actually knew the Sigilite, AND has fought side-by-side with daemons for ten millenia!?!!?!?

So, what do you guys think? I know it's never happened before, but that's no reason why it can't.

the reason the grey knights are so incorruptable is that they never believe anything that a form of chaos says is true. There is NO heisitation at ALL. If a grey knight would even think of any type of mercy at all he is no longer a grey knight. For more information read the hammer of deamons and how Alaric was no longer a grey knight as he did not pursue their attitude such as to, at every oppertunity, try and kill deamons. From a fluff perspective no this wouldn't work. It might if an inquisitor found the beserker but not draigo. Of course go ahead if you want you can argue both ways and it can kinda work. I don't want to put a downer on this saying you should never do it. End of the day its your models and your hobby so do as you please...

I lol'd so hard. This is a parody of the astartes inquisitor post right? I mean, I know its not April 1st or anything, but still :P

A BERSERKER SCREAMS "BLOOD FOR BLOOD GOD!!!!!" etc he don't get much to time to chill out smoke a bowl and talk about theology with the guys.....

Has the WARD disease spread this far??

i'm normally open minded but, come on. Only a devious, very self centred or :) choas marine would dress up in bunny ears, pretend to be a devout servant of Khorne then loose the faith once a Grey Knight gets his big chopper out.

Saying that.... I like the idea of a traitor marine masqurading as different factions to keep his skin intact. He gets dragged up in the whole Heresy thing, killing different marines and stealing their identity as he goes.... yeah right!!!!!

I'm sure he could be put to use, somehow, by a particularly devious mind...

However making him an Inquisitor? I don't think so. I think a Grey Knight wouldn't hesitate, they are brain washed to kill everything daemonic without question. Using Chaos against Chaos (legitimacy of reformation aside) is something only a few brave souls would even attempt, and they get hunted down for even trying.

i will say inquisitor is a bit much... but i could understand him being a guide, deamon host, acolyte pretty much something in the retrinue rather then the leader and draigo would kill him outright... but a ratical inquisitor on the other hand  and remember a heretic may seek redemption but a traitor will never be forgiven
