Xeraxen
Since I've started a topic concerning alternate Daemonhost models and Assassin models, I might as well start one for the rest of the Henchmen models. The Lawyer from Malifaux http://www.arcaneminiatures.co.uk/miniatur...il.asp?ID=35514 could work well as an... erm... well... uh... Mystic? Indicision aside, does anyone have anything else to suggest? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228006-alternate-henchmen-models/ Share on other sites
Brother-Chaplain Kage
The I-Guard Regimental Advisors would work for some of them, and instead of being $10 to $12 each, you get 3 for $17.25. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod2010020 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228006-alternate-henchmen-models/#findComment-2731739 Share on other sites
Brother Karr
Well if your wanting to stick to GeeDub products. Use Bretonnian Men at Arms as Crusaders with Storm Shields and tech out their weapons or pick up some Guard power weapons to model them correctly. Its been mentioned but you could use Dark Eldar Wyches as Death Cultist. There is another monkey model from Reaper Reaper;s Orangutango. Wargames Factory ScifI Great Coats as Warriors with Hot shot Lasguns Sci-Fi Greatcoats, Not top notch quality but you cant go wrong with them now that they seem to be shipping again in a more timely manner. Heresy Miniatures has Some Sci-fi Troopers that would work great as warriors in Carapace armor, Heresy Miniatures - Just look at all of their fun goodies. These are the first few that I can think of right now. Edit Some Additional Things I came up with now that I have had a chance to sleep for a bit. Mordheim: Possessed Warband the guy in the center could make another good daemon host. Mordheim: Sigmarite Warrior Priest Could be used a Mystic, Psyker or a Banisher. You could use Sister of Battle as Warriors w/Power armor and Bolters. I would probably wait until they are re-cut into plastic. I don't really care for the look of Infinity as its a bit to Sleek Futuristic for Imperial Tech but there is a ton of models in that range that look awesome. Although A couple of the merc's are killer models and would work for Deathcult. The morat vanguard infantry are a bit Ape like in the face and carry big guns, could use them as Joker's. Brother Sefiel
Hello Necromunda also has quite a few variant models (I use pit slaves for various servitors/warriors and a Redemptionist for a Banisher). Old Sisters Redemptia could work as Banishers, too. There are so many models that can proxy as psykers, as well. Adir
Necromunda is especially suitable given that many of those models came with swappable weapons. This makes it very easy to do some with laspistol/ccw and some with special weapons. Here is one suggestion for using enforcers (also has a link to all the Necro models): http://23lines.blogspot.com/2011/03/exempl...forcers-as.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228006-alternate-henchmen-models/#findComment-2732055 Share on other sites
