amrogers3
Hello, I am trying to plan out a rune priest conversion I would like to do. I want one hand holding a staff and the other hand outstretched like casting a spell. I've googled and looked through GW models but I can't seem to find anything that would work. Any recommendations on how to either find a bit or sculpt an outstretched hand? Thanks in advance. Lorenzen
termie librarian hand, sanguinary guard relaxed hand (potentially some of the pa grey knight ones too) or a missile launcher hand. theyre the only ones i can think of that wouldnt require greenstuff. This guy would have been perfect if it were for the fact that my conversion will be holding a staff in his left hand. ;) Good suggestion though. I should have been more specific as to which hand I was needing. Looks like the same goes with the sanquinary guard the missile launcher guy, both left handed. Maybe I can turn that missile launcher hand around, cut off the thumb, and use it on the right arm. Least I got some ideas, thanks for the suggestions. Arikel
The new grey knight sprue looks like it has a number of weaponless hands in a variety of positions, look like mostly lefthanders too though. http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Custom...e02_873x627.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228171-out-strectched-hand/#findComment-2734161 Share on other sites

That out-stretched hand just might work if I can reposition him. Very cool. :tu: Like this guy? :) You sculpt that whole mini? the Fell Hand
Yep! I'm painting it tonight actually. The hand was hard to get, but if you decide to sculpt it try to make a wire skeleton to sculpt onto, that will help.
