I Love hearing these trails of the great wolf, I've only got to play him twice so far, but the more recent was my game last week where he destroyed a termaguant squad and a gene stealer squad plus brood lord. We had to end the game early which was too bad since I wanted to smash a trygon prime with him

this is not my achievement, but probably the most pimp work i've seen logan do so far. (and performed by fellow B&C member rayray)

a team apoc game, where logan and WG-TDA unit in combat with a CSM Khorne Lord on Juggernaut. they elect to fight a "hero's fight" and square off against each other. the Khorne Lord rolls around 11-13 attacks with his daemon weapon, and scores 6 wounds on the Old Wolf.

Now rayray, looking utterly nonchalant, takes 6 dice and rolls his invul saves as if this was tedious busy work he didnt care for. didnt fail a single roll!

Logan then elects to use his attacks as 3 Frost weapons and 2 power fist swings. the 1st three hit, wound and kill the Khorne lord outright. as easy as breathing and colder than a fenrisian morning swim.

after that, we all gave the Old Wolf his proper dues. both teams.

WLK

This was Apoc mind you, but yesterday Logan killed:

5 Chosen

1 Aspiring Champion

Hive Tyrant

2 Hive Guard

1 Zonethrope

15+ Gargoyles

10+ Gaunts

He was sucked into a combat that lasted four turns in the middle of the board in turn two, alongside Njal and two Grey Hunter Packs. Njal and the hunters died over the following 8 combats but Logan remained, killing everything that was sent against him and only losing one wound the entire combat.

If Logan had died I'd have lost the game, he was contesting their vital objective. In the end it was a 0-0 draw.

I was very lucky to have killed the chaos marines that came into the combat. The turn after they died Zarakynel became available but was forced to spawn at the back of their lines after my Reaver killed the Thousand Sons and Logan killed the Chosen which would have given her a free ticket into my advance.

The combat in the center was truly brutal and at least 2000+ points died in it. I really wish I'd sent Lukas and his Claws, and my other Grey Hunter pack into it, could possibly have caused their entire center to collapse then. Ah well. Was an excellent game!

Edit: The Guard and Tyrant did take wounds from Njal and the Grey Hunters, but it was Logan who killed them off.

Though two wolf lords in anything short of the wolftime feels unfluffy, ragnar plus logan would be insane...

I went to Ard Boyz nationals with:

Logan

Ragnar

Guard w/ Storm Shield and Frost Blade in TDA

Guard w/ Storm Shield and Frost Blade in TDA

Guard w/ Storm Shield and Thunder Hammer in TDA

Guard w/ Storm Shield and Thunder Hammer in TDA

Guard w/ Storm Shield and Chainfist in TDA

Guard w/ Wolf Claws in TDA

In a Crusader.

It was a fire magnet death star from hell, but when it made contact it KILLED EVERYTHING IT TOUCHED.

At semis that unit alone killed Nurgle Demon Prince, Khorne Demon Prince, Daemonettes, Blood Krusher and the other big blood crusher chap. Epic.

Well today my Logan didn't kill anything but saturday we had a Tournament and my Logan tends to kill a lot of things indirectly since I use a long fang squad as his command squad. I wont mention the things his "command squad killed" because I wouldn't even be able to start recalling the destruction they laid. But Logan himself killed an entire unit of Paladins and Draigo (I used some sneaky tactics by charging some Wolfguard in power armor into the squad and charging logan at a lone paladin. Logan wiped the paladins in two turns and the 5 man wolf guard unit lasted long enough to hold Draigo in place still logan finished the paladins. Once the paladins were dead so were my wolf guard so the man to man battle began (It was kinda epic because Draigo was what was holding me back from tabling him) Draigo was already wounded from shooting earlier in the turn and Logan came at him with his frost axe and preferred enemy slaying Draigo and only taking 1 wound in return.

Well all of the other games he hung with his Long Fangs so nothing special to report there.

As I see the thirst for heroic story in your eyes, I shall tell;

It was a 2k game against Imperial Fists. I was just toying around with concepts, and since I couldn't think of anything worthwhile, I just deployed ten WG Termis led by the High King in the center of my lines. Stubborn as they wer yellow, Lysander and his own Termiantors took the charge to my lines, right for the heart, where the Old Man himself rested in his overseeing skill and farsight.

Although shooting reduced by WG down to four guys, and it looked dire at the hands of beign charged by an Ironclad, Lysander and the Terminators. My opponent had deployed rather wisely, as befitting a siegemaster. So, Logan was forced to beat down on the Ironclad. Knowing my usual dice, I considered the assault lost already. I knew my WG was going to die, and Logan, he would die eventually too, overwhelmed. Not by the dread, but the backing up assault terminators.

But no.

The Axe of Morkai swung and scored four penetrating hits, ripping the dread apart.

No wound for me, and although all Terminators died, Logan stood his ground.

The WG didn't do a whole lot, they took one wound of Lysander -- but not more.

Next turn, Logan kicked it again. All attacks hit. All wound. Lysander fails a good lot of saves, he drops.

Past his body, the Old Wolfs cold breath howls like a dragon of winter wind.

If the Marines had known fear, they would have felt it in that moment.

:)

Well, well.

Speeding up.

He cut the rest of the termies down, while in tag, the lone wolf to his flank chainfisted their LRC.
