Ludovic Well now that the new IA 11 came out and gave us assault drop pods Im going to create 3 more dreads similar to this but with close combat load outs. Body= AOBR Dread Legs= Sentinel Torso= Cut up glue top Arms= AOBR Dread Feet= A mix of AOBR Dread and Sentinel Armor Plates=DreadKnight Missle Packs= Typhoon missile pods Assault cannons= Aegis Defence Line Smoke Launcher= Rhino The rest is up to you.. One minor nitpick, something just seems... off to me about the missile launchers, to my eyes they'd look better shoulder mounted than where they are now, as it looks like they're about to shoot off into space at an angle, rather than forwards to the thing you want dead just my 0.02p, other than that, it looks great and I may be appropriating ideas from you >.> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just started working on the body of my second one and i have not started on the legs yet so maybe i can put a step by step together. I was planning on making a couple cc dreads as well so ill take that opportunity to take some pics. @ Wil Bass Yak and Night. Thanks very much for the kind words. Raise the Dread's hands a bit... Best used against tyranids, if they're anything like Aliens. Good and rough looking army, one of the best Raven Guard I've seen. I may have to use that on mine. I love the use of the Repressor kit on the rhinos as well. At least it looks like 10 marines may fit inside! Yeah i was just sitting there with my airbrush playing with colors on a pad and found this by total accident. I drew out four boxes and started spraying. The last box i took black silver as the base then i shot aluminum in the center and it just popped. And you are more than welcome to it. the best form of flattery in my opinion. However as a Templars and Raven Guard player I dont like so much white on Raven Guard, they look to much like Raven Templars. And i dont think you are correct. I did a little looking around on the web and found some RG art with black ravens on white. Then i went to FW and looked at the xfer sheets and they also have black ravens. So i think im safe on my choice of black on white.
