What no mayo?

Report to the Inquisition to be purged!!!!! Ketchup or ranch dressing are the only "sauces" that should be placed on fries/chips.

In thread related news I must say I am loving your ravens man! I think you are capturing their feel really well, especially with the birdnoughts!

What in the nine hells is brown sauce? Or don't I want to know? :rolleyes:

That's the stuff most Brits mean when we say 'brown sauce'. It's quite nice. Goes well with Haggis. :tu:

Anyhoo, back on topic, Boramar, have you made any more progress on that glorious mono-wheel?

Good work with the missile launcher guy, I like the pale flesh tone you achieved. Looking forward to more.

Congratulations in doing so well at the tournament 9th out of almost 200 is not to be sniffed at.

PS: I am really hungry now

Hey, just clicked at your signature on Sons of Corax and saw all these great conversions. ^^

Did you describe somewhere how you made your mech/cybot legs? I see some parts from the dreadknight but it’s obviously not all.

Hey Kua i catch you lurking over there every now and then.

Here is the list of parts i used.

Body= AOBR Dread

Legs= Sentinel

Torso= Cut up glue top

Arms= AOBR Dread

Feet= A mix of AOBR Dread and Sentinel

Armor Plates=DreadKnight

Missle Packs= Typhoon missile pods

Assault cannons= Aegis Defence Line

Smoke Launcher= Rhino

No i never really described how i did it. But i guess i could. For the legs i used sentinel. The armor plating was upper torso dread knight that i shaved down and filled(the words inset on the pad). Lower armor was Dread leg armor that i rounded the sides on to make it look less bulky. Feet were made from both the dread and sentinel feet. I used the sentinel center part that connects to the ball and trimmed the toes of flush to the base. I then trimmed down the the toes on the back side. I guess you could call that the joint. Put them to the side then cut the dreads feet so all i ended up with was its toes. Then connected them via pins like birds feet in what ever position was needed. Hope i described it well enough to understand. If not maybe i can put together some pics.

Fantastic pieces man! I really will steal the Aegis defence line idea for my BA, it's not that I'll go the same lengths (I think) but it looks so much better!

Cheers,

Thanks Kilax. Have at it! But i warn you its tuff traveling with them. I seem to fix the kinks in the barbed wire more than i was expecting.

That guy was one of my first experiments with my airbrush. I think the lighted effect came out pretty cool. But i can tell you there is still a ton of things to learn about using it.

Thanks, you did. :)

It were the sentinel legs I was wondering about. So far I have only seen versions with Dreadknight’s and Defiler’s ones, the latter look pretty cool a well but are longer, I guess.

Hey guys sorry i haven't updated my Marines in a good while. But i have a good reason and i figured i would share it with everyone. I recently came across a ton of Squats so i have diverted all of my attention to them. I also started my own Blog on the project. So i figured there may be some members interested and possibly want to follow along. So here is the link.

Well with all this new Marine talk I've been giving some thought on a heavy scout list. However my creativity with my scout poses is dwindling fast. Anyone have any ideas/pics they would like to share?

I didn't get much interest or feedback from my earlier post so i went ahead and built a few scouts. I was trying to get away from the cookie cutter poses and i hope i succeeded.  All of these are still a WIP so don't mind the lines and trim work.

sometimes I love scouts, sometimes I hate them

this time I love them! great subtle poses on those guys, they all look individual, but also of singular purpose, love all the kit they have too, can't wait to see them painted

if you really want to mix it up, you should track down some of the metal oop scouts with the running legs, at least for a sarge or something?
