Brother Lavis
I doubt it very much but seems like a perfect opportunity to release some gaps tbf. Plastic Techmarine (conversion beamer etc) Plastic assassin kit (those models are stupidly old now) What do you think? veidin
Id prefer a FAQ over 2nd wave. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2738846 Share on other sites
Raus
Plastic assassin kit (those models are stupidly old now) But still has at least 1 model/assassin looking quite nice . Really wouldn't be expecting those. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2738873 Share on other sites

Custodian Athiair
i think probably some more inquisitor henchmen. possibly plastic kit but doubt it. also i think probably some more inquisitors and to finish any characters with out a model: Thawn Modrack Valeria new Stern model maybe but probably only two of those but tbh i dont think that will be out till the end of the year about october (i think thats when the BA second wave came out) Athiair  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2738875 Share on other sites

A few charachter models (I would be very very supprised if they re-did Stern tho), and maybe just maybe a plasitc henchemen squad but I wouldent hold my breath! They've been around for more than a decade yet I still think they look wonderful. It'd be a huge shame to get rid of them. By just my thoughts :D ~Gil Hmmm If they want to get rid of metal models (if that rumour is true) and think they could sell enough boxes... I don't know if one for every grey knight players would be enough or not... I could see a box with all 4 in plastic for £20-25 or a Inqusitor/Henchmen/assassin box which would give you enough to build 1 assassin/inqusitor and maybe 1 of each type of henchman... except maybe monkey... or they might expect you to scratch those. Joasht
I seriously doubt there would be a big second wave. Just some of the special characters perhaps, thats about it.... IraSummers
I don't think there will be another wave. I do hope that we see some new Inq models and a few Ordo Xenos ones as well. Would also be nice if the released a BC/GM model or even better one like the Marine multi-part plastic Captain kit. It made me sad when they simply relabeled the Terminator Brother Captain and the "new" Brother Captain HQ model  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2738988 Share on other sites
Joasht
I doubt they would. To be honest though, there is enough bits in the plastic kits to make a pretty unique BC/GM, especially if you are willing to use some GS and perhaps steal some heads from other kits. dublindawg
Sure GK's get one right after Space Wolves  It's been almost 2 years since SW's got their update and in that time BA got released and a 2nd wave. Same with DE, I wouldn't hold my breath on a 2nd wave for SW anytime soon. SW might get an update and TWC in about 8 years to keep pace of how long they get love from GW. That being said, I would like to see in the 2nd wave: A plastic Librarian henchmen plastice kit servo skulls Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2739005 Share on other sites
Seahawk
SW might get an update and TWCI think you'll be surprised on how much sooner this occurs...:) But no, if other armies are waiting 4+ years for their 2nd waves (and it's mostly just characters), then GK are definitely not getting anything. Captain Psycho
Before warseer got hacked and shut down there was a rumor that Space Puppies will get a plastic TWC box this Fall, not really a second wave just GW responding to popular demand imho. I can't really see a GK second wave. I would love a plastic techmarine kit with a conversion beamer (I'm going to try a "conversion" - PUN!) but there's already metal techmarines and two metal vindicares (which quite frankly is the only assassin that will sell well now). There may not be much variety in the henchmen models but they do exist, so again I can't see them coming out with a plastic box. Then again they did replace the metal GKTs and PAGKs with plastic even though the metal scuplts were some of the nicest in the GW range, so you never know. No one seems to know for sure what's going on with the metal blisters, afaik the speculation that GW was replacing metal with resin was never confirmed by a reliable inside source and it could be that they are just repackaging the blisters (which sounds more likely than a move to resin). My second wave wishlist: I'd like to see the aformentioned plastic techmarine, a long hoped for plastic librarian kit (or librarian / chaplain kit, I also play BA) and a plastic GK dread with TLAC (yes I know Forgeworld makes them but GW did come out with plastic drop pods in 5E which used to be Forgeworld only). I can see the last one happening because between BAs and GKs the rifleman dread is becoming more and more popular (much like the popularity of TWC has apparently convinced GW to come out with a kit for them). Edit: Ninja'd by Seahawk! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2739121 Share on other sites
Brother Lavis
I'm sure the thunderwolf cav, will be soon, in fact I'm sure I heard they were ready to release but GW were just waiting for the best Time to release, maybe when they change from metal. As for grey knights I don't think we will get one, wish they would give us a conversion beamer, or (they have aged well) but some new assassins would still be nice, the vindicare they made for inquisitor looked awesome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228514-grey-knights-second-wave/#findComment-2739129 Share on other sites

Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Same. Hopefully it'll be a full second wave. My poor, poor Wolves are developing personality problems from a lack of love. I caught one rocking back and forth in a ball and eating a chair. AlexHolker
The only plastic kit I could see the Grey Knights getting is a Techmarine + Servitors box. Everything else is either plastic already, a single model or has too many options that look completely different to be supported by multipart plastics. My poor, poor Wolves are developing personality problems from a lack of love. You play Space Marines. Your complaints of a lack of love are invalid. Brother Captain Kezef
GW has an odd history when it comes to character models. Some armies get theirs within a few months, some armies never get their characters. IG are still waiting on Bastonne for instance. I'm not holding my breath for any more models, just thankful everything else in the dex is available. Brother Captain Kezef
Correction. I play Space Wolves. It is relevant. Space wolves get little sympathy in the GK community lately, mostly due to the attitude of certain SW players. But i can see your point, SW are lacking TWC and despite the cries of cheese it's kinda stupid for GW to create an all new unit for the SW and then NOT make models for them. That and the character models for the SW (with the exception of logan) are bloody 2nd ed! Chapter Master Ignis Domus
The character models, with the exception of Rat Priest Ulrik, are still nice, though. We do have less support than the xenos Dark Eldar, who have a supposed third wave coming.
