starting mechanicus

hey guys,

I am thinking about starting a mechanicus army using the grey knights codex, now i dont wanna sound like a codex jumper but this is the first codex i have found that could be even close to doing them justice.

i would of course impose some rules on it, like no grey knights etc.

what i was going to use is Coteaz (cause you have to to unlock henchmen) as a counts as Magos. tech marines, dreads, warrior acolytes with storm bolters and carapace armor, chimeras, razorbacks, storm ravens and dread knights as counts as knight titans.

the only issue i have is trying to explain away the various psychic powers, any thoughts on that?

anyway, what do you guys think? is it just to "new codex-y"?

They are not psychic powers... just dangerous prototype technology... hence why it may well blow up...
