Nemisor
hey guys, I am thinking about starting a mechanicus army using the grey knights codex, now i dont wanna sound like a codex jumper but this is the first codex i have found that could be even close to doing them justice. i would of course impose some rules on it, like no grey knights etc. what i was going to use is Coteaz (cause you have to to unlock henchmen) as a counts as Magos. tech marines, dreads, warrior acolytes with storm bolters and carapace armor, chimeras, razorbacks, storm ravens and dread knights as counts as knight titans. the only issue i have is trying to explain away the various psychic powers, any thoughts on that? anyway, what do you guys think? is it just to "new codex-y"? They are not psychic powers... just dangerous prototype technology... hence why it may well blow up... WingsOfTheFalcon
That's exactly the project I'm doing at the minute as well. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Bewlay
You do realize that casting pychic powers is not compulsory  I know it makes your army alittle less effective, but if you want to make a fluffy force then sacrifices must be made Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228537-starting-mechanicus/#findComment-2741234 Share on other sites
Arthran
I'm starting a new Ad-mech related army. Using the Blood Angels codex. Also on the subject of psychic powers, I personally view it as a massive excuse to model experimental weapons and gubbins! SquigBait
I agree with the experimental / lost tech / archeotech and is how I am showing it in my WH based army.
