Messor
I think you can get away with both. A simple ceremony for the selected individual leaving the clan, all present knowing they'll never return, but the killing itself being a personal ceremony on the Behemoth. If you focus on the killing ceremony, I don't think it would get too wordy. You guys have any thoughts on my more recent updates? Ravenfeld
Well, bad news everyone. Turns out in a catastrophic chain of events the vast majority of my work has been destroyed. This was in part due to my own efforts to hastily restore my work and in part due to the shift to the new board. What this means is that I will have to start completely fresh if the completed transition of the board doesn't miraculously remedy this situation, and that doesn't seem likely. As you can probably understand I am rather put off by the whole affair and, given the time and effort it took to not only write up the article but also the creative inspiration that went into its wording and composition, I will be stepping away from it. This is partially due to my disappointment in this turn of events, and partially because I don't want to hastily re-write what I lost only to hate what comes from it. The best remedy is to step away and let my "muse" return on its own and when it does I will once again attempt to relay my vision of Clan Bracchus to those of you who have taken the time to read what I had before. Some of you may wonder why I didn't make a backup, well all I can say is that when I went to do just that the board was down, and it was my efforts to backup the file that caused its loss in the first place. A bug with the current version of the board (which is going to be upgraded when Argos is able). I suppose I always thought that the board would be a safe place for it, after all there is articles from many years back stored safely here... Thank you for reading & hopefully i'll return to it in a shorter time frame than my original hiatus. -- Raven Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228684-ia-clan-bracchus-tragedy-strike-rebuilding-begins/page/2/#findComment-3283844 Share on other sites
Ravenfeld
Okay! I am back in the zone and ready to rebuild but first I need help, if any of you that read the last rendition of my article have any specific memories of what you liked or didn't like about it (the more specifics the better) then please PM me what you remember. I want the new article to be as accurate as possible to what I had before the crash! Help me bring it back! BassWave
Unfortunately I only vaguely remember a few bits and pieces. I only remember discussing the neophyte challenges, sorry Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228684-ia-clan-bracchus-tragedy-strike-rebuilding-begins/page/2/#findComment-3337536 Share on other sites
