MadGreek
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I don't have the basic rule book handy (it's packed somewhere). If I select a 10 man unit, add a Captain and a Sang. Priest, for 12 total models, can I select and pay for 2 Razorbacks (6 each) as transport? Or, 30 Death Company with 3 Landraiders (10 each)? I am pretty sure that one squad can only choose one dedicated transport.
Brother Yorei
only one dedicated transport per unit.
Portaljacker
Aren't you able to buy the other one normally? I believe it takes up a troop slot though. I could be entirely wrong on that one and I have no idea what a Land Raider would take up if taken not as a dedicated transport (logic and other codices would make me think heavy support). Portaljacker
Found the portion of the rules that confused me. Dedicated transports Dedicated transport vehicles sit outside the Force Organisation structure, as they are attached to the unit they are bought for. When this distinction is called for (for example in some missions or deployment types), dedicated transport vehicles count as being from the same force organisation category as the unit they were bought for. For example, a Rhino bought for a Space Marine Tactical Squad (Troops) counts as a unit of Troops, but if it was bought for a unit of Veterans (Elites) it counts as Elites. Whitefireinferno
Still does not change the FACT you can only ever purchase one dedicated transport per unit.
dadieau
The only way for Blood Angle Tac squads to get Landraiders is to take them as dedicated transports. The only way for vanilla marine Tac squads to get Landraiders is to take them as Heavy Support.
Leonaides
And a unit can only get into 1 transport. And if there isnt enough space for the whole unit then they cant get into it.
