The second pose is significantly better, though I have to admit that you were already starting at "freaking awesome!".

I really like what you are doing with this.

Now having said that, if it were me (and it could be at some point in the future), I would point the sword at the chest of the DP, because then you're saying, "You will never blaspheme my mother again scum!"...or words to that effect. Anyway, try pointing the blade at the DP's chest and see if you like it.

A while back I won a box of daemonettes. I've never really been sure what to do about them, but now I know. They are going to end up between the toes of my Dreadknights.

I'm looking forward to seeing him painted up.

Cheers,

Very nice. I've got a number of embryotic clever remarks, but frankly I'm just too tired right now to nurture them into maturity for my own amusement. Later then.

By the by, if you could model the DP under big boy's boot to do more than just have that "OMG I iz gonna die!" arms spread pose, it might add an extra dose of epic to that already outrageously expensive monstrosity you have going. Something like moving his arms/hands to be grabbing for the giant BBQ cannon aimed at his face or something.

I like and I definitely agree the second pose looks better. Here comes the big hairy BUT, though, it would look dope if the sword arm was raised more in a striking position, than just randomly pointing the gun in the opposite direction of where he's looking. Like if you just tilt the sword slightly to the back, it would look like he's raised it to chop the DP's head off.

I also agree with trying to make the DP look more like it's struggling, maybe if its left arm was down on the ground trying to push himself up and out from under the foot. And perhaps if the foot was just a tad bit bent to fit the shape of the daemon's torso?

Okay I'm done  If you can manage all that it would look absolutely awesomely fantastically balls to the walls cool. Not that it doesn't already look really cool..

That looks great, definately agree with the second pose.

I dunno about the other arm, in some ways it looks a little random- as GooseDaMoose said- on the other hand it kinda works, laying down a hail of fire as he finishes the demon, he is a psyker strapped to a dreadknight chassis after all ^_^ Either way very nice work with the kit.

i like it!

to be honest i don't think you need to point the sword at the deamon, having a heavy flamer pointed at it's head is scary enough, right now he looks like he is going to spit out a one-liner, something along the lines of "burn in the holy flames of the emperor deamon scum!"

btw, what's the large model at the back of most photo's?

Looks like an Inquisitor scale space marine conversion, to me. :)

Yeah, I think you're good to go. After looking at the left arm again, I think the sword arm looks just fine.

Awesome, my only suggestion would be tilt the sword slightly down towards the DP, make it look like he's about to stab him good and proper ;)

~Gil ;)

p.s if you're not going to put the arm pistons on cut the spokes off and just put the ball bit into the ball joint. Fills in the holes and looks pretty cool imo.

I say leave the arm as is. The Grey knight doesn't need to point his sword at the daemon prince or prepare to lob his head off, he just needs to keep it out of the way of the massive flamer already about to burn the daemon princes head off and I think thats communicated perfectly in the model, the only thing i would say to perhaps work on is the posing of the daemon princes legs, i haven't seen a close up view of them yet but you should take care to ensure they actually make the daemon prince look like he is lying prone rather than just knocked over in the same position he'd be in standing. all in all excellent model cant wait to see it painted.
