Tech Priest - One Day Deamon Winner

Hey guys,

 

Another update from my ongoing Mechanicus/Grey Knights project.

 

Yesterday I entered and won the GW One Day Deamon at my local store (Manchester Arndale) after producing this Enginseer in the 4 hours time limit.

Looks perfect for 4 hours work. All the shading is good, the colours are clean and the details are tidy. The power axe could maybe have a little more depth, but I was looking hard to find a suggestion for improvement because there is nothing wrong at all :)

Yeah, I really like it. Maybe I should suggest something similar in my local store. Would be a lot of fun to see what one could do in 4h.

Thanks guys, being critial then yeah the power axe shading/blending really could be better and I wasn't very happy with how a lot of the metallics came out. I wanted them to be really bright and the washes made them very dull.

 

For 4 hours I was happy but I'm my own worst critic, I nearly missed out on the win because of some very critical feedback of my basing. I deliberately left it very plain as I want to use the mini for gaming, but it clearly wasn't up to competition standard!
