Headhunters

With all of the truescale tutorials, and the new Grey knight minis, I thought I'd combine the two and give truescaling a bash. I used a combination of plasticard, green stuff and pinning with soft copper wire to lengthen and repose the models. Unfortunatley, I left my camera up at uni, so I'm having to use my phone:

The first shot is the second model I made, the one I'm more proud of. I added spacers at the shoulders, waist, hips, knees, upper arms, forearms and wrists. I drilled through them to repose them to the position he's in now, with a model for reference:

This second shot includes my first model, who has only been mildly altered in his positioning, as I didn't use any pinning techniques on him:

Any C&C would be appreciated. I'll update this with more models as I make them.

Not too shabby, brother. I think the armpit in the first picture needs a bit more work to it - some ribbing would be a good idea, I think. :P

i think you need to redo all the green stuffed "soft" armour joints. they look kinda coarse and rough. like Olisredan said, ribbing would look much better.

otherwise good work :P

I've tried to improve my ribbing work, I'll be honest, and say that what you saw up there were my cretinous attempts at ribbing.

I give you the master of the hunt style figure (still need a name... Jaeger Meister just wouldn't work...):

I have a bit more work to do, filling and such, and adding trophy skulls around the waist.

My first two painted figures, again, not fully complete. I'd like tips on improving my paintwork as well.

Though the legs/groin look a little off on him, I love the two sword guy. I might have to use that as an inspiration for a mark of the wulfen.

Gladly! I saw the nemesis force falchions, and knew I had to do a bit of barbarianism. Once a wolf player, always a wolf player...
