MadRussian
I've been interested in getting into the painting aspect of the Warhammer game for a while. I just recently purchased a set of metal space marines and got them painted. I know the colors are a little..unnatural..for a space marine, but I'm on a pretty tight budget, and it was the cheapest set of paint they had. Any advice or criticisms are welcome and encouraged. http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo358/Lighthouse356/IMG-20110501-00051.jpg http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo358/Lighthouse356/IMG-20110501-00050.jpg http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo358/Lighthouse356/IMG-20110501-00049.jpg http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo358/Lighthouse356/IMG-20110501-00048.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228861-first-attempt-at-a-space-marine/ Share on other sites
KfS
For being a new painter, your model is very neat and the paint doesn't appear to be too thick in most places. Some dark washes can help bring out some of the details in the lighter paint (such as on the pointing hand). Olis
For model number one you've done a-okay, Mad. I think the back of the knees need painting, though. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228861-first-attempt-at-a-space-marine/#findComment-2743901 Share on other sites
