Redfinger
Here is a quick commission I did, Raven Guard Sergeant. I am pretty happy with the results. I tried to keep the highlighting to a minimum, I felt like the stark black/white contrast was enough of an eye catching look, I didn't need to go over board w/ ultra stark highlighting. All vallejo colors were used, highlighting was done w/ oils. The parchment attached to the right shoulder comes out of the Flagellent Warband from the Fantasy line. You can catch more pictures in my gallery! enjoy! Ashton https://picasaweb.google.com/RedModeling
Olis
Very nice, brother. I take it from the white he is a veteran? I shall be looking for more entries into this blog in the future - your painting skills are admirable.
Redfinger
I am not sure on the color used for Raven Guard. The client indicated that Raven Guard have white helmets, shoulders and arms... Thanks for the compliment. Ashton

The 40k Hobbiest
I checked out your gallery. Not only can you paint, but you can convert too! Those dreadnought drop pods look absolutely awesome. The airship thing is cool too. I wish I could do conversions even half as well as you can. Good job man.
