space marine schnauzer
Does anyone add a SM helmet to figures that are bare headed? What I mean do you glue a helmet bit to the figure. If yes where would be a good place to afix the helmet?
Olis
I have done in the past and, in line with GW's models, I glue them at the hip, towards the back.
Baal Dropout
I for one, do add helmets to my bareheaded marines, I try to glue 'em on their behinds/under their packs as that place is more often empty (the sides are occupied with grenades, pouches and a random bit or two)... BROTHER UNGOLIANT
Glue them on an open hand or cut a gap in a fist an slot it in.
Dwarfkernow
I generally glue them on the side or just underneath the pack, occassionally i will glue one to the base. ;)
henrywalker
you should really drill them out though. what you can do is take the stormbolter arms from the vehicle upgrade sprue, point them straight up holding the helmet and it looks as though he is taking it off or on. red_starrise
I do on my sgts who are bare headed, I usually glue them onto their belts behind their back. Lop off the ball joint for the neck & glue that part to the belt, eyes facing downward. It looks right.
onlyme
I tend to show the helmet on the hip of a marine if they are going bare headed. Here's an example of a sergeant in my DIY chapter.
