Iron Warriors Daemon Prince

Recommended Posts

So, here is the Daemon Prince. I did all of the conversion work myself, although much of it was the idea of my client (especially the face mask).

Let me know what you think:

The work done on the model is great. I wish I could see the hammer a little better....

The only thing I would have done differently is I would try to work in an element of bionics on the DP. You don't have to go crazy but it's just a personal preference thing more than anything.

Very nice work.

I like it. :tu:

On a whimsical note; where's the hazard stripes? ;)

Well, they really just didn't fit with this mini's composition. Since the metals were already broken up rather well by the skin tones, there just wasn't a place for hazard stripes.

Panting is perfect thumbsup.gif but for me this Iron Warrior should have more iron on him, and inside of him. Mask is good accent but is just not enough.

Maybe some bionic wings, or at leas some bionic arms with build in weapon.

I agree with him on the wings. If you just changed them into some cool bionic wings it would seem right plus you could add the haz lines there. I once saw a Daemon prince that used a huge jetback instead of wings and that actually came out pretty sick.

Otherwise I think the main body is good.

That's a pretty sweet conversion.

This mini was one that I created for a client. It was his call as to just how converted the mini is (in this case, not all that much).

Personally, I like the fleshy mutations combined with the mechanical bits, but I think that an entirely mechanical daemon prince would be awesome too.

I also think that current Iron Warriors players should be creating mechanical craziness for their daemons. 'cause, really, what good are generic daemon rules if they aren't letting you convert the crap out of them?

Yes that is true, if you look up bionic daemon prince online you will see princes with this huge elaborate jetbacks with these great engines and fins. If your client doesn't want that type of thing then :tu: on him.
