EmbattledSoul
i plan on using the BT upgrade sprue to make my assault marines, theyll be serving alongside my crimson fists(a son of Dorn, is a son of Dorn). Im curious if the torso's will look alright if accompanied by a jetpack, since they dont have the straps to keep a JP on like the assault marine torsos. could it be explained away that theyre under the tabards? Baal Dropout
If it's of any consolation: some (if not recently; most) Blood Angel Assault squads are also modeled with torsos lacking straps (from Death Company and Sanguinary Guard boxes) Eitherway, I don't mind them without the straps (though does look odd when the said unit is beside another assault squad with the JP harness) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/228984-bt-upgrade-sprue/#findComment-2746653 Share on other sites
EmbattledSoul
I'm also noticing the torso's on the upgrade sprue only have a front side tabard, not a back... Wth gw. Tabard w JP may be hazardous but I'm sure with enough faith in the emperor, they won't burn. Hfran Morkai
Jump Packs without harnesses can be explained as using magnets to attach to the armour, like Space Marine Weapons (Though hopefully they don't come off as easily XD). I have a squad of Wolves without harness Jump Packs (Stand in Heresy Jumpers) and it looks fine, though a different style of pack and no tabard, hmm.
