katarn
This was not planned at all but think it is coming along nicely http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb292/ponk23/057.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb292/ponk23/056.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb292/ponk23/055.jpg http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb292/ponk23/054.jpg The only thing that is bugging me is that the front wheel doesnt sit quite right but my modeling skills are not up to much and couldnt get it right. Natanael
Yeah, I was gonna comment on the front wheel, but since you know about it all I say is: NICE! =) - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/229014-captain-on-bike/#findComment-2746516 Share on other sites
Tybrus
Love the work, but the front forks seem way to long to me at least. Other then that love the model =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/229014-captain-on-bike/#findComment-2746543 Share on other sites
Eberious
Love the work, but the front forks seem way to long to me at least. Other then that love the model =) Must of got it custom made from the orange county choppers team. Looking cool, as said with the front wheel but covered already. The only other thing that bugs me is that its DA, but thats another story :P ..lol. Allways good to have a mess around, in fact I frequently doing that. Any chance of a side shot with the captain on it. Looks like hes got a sheild, just want to see how it sits on there. Conandoodle
Always love seeing the kind of conversions. As a solution to address your concerns with the front wheel .. could you possibly dip it in hot water for a 30 seconds or so and give it a little twist to straighten it? Looking forward to seeing some colour splashed on it .. and the mold lines removed. Nice work. SincaiN
I was thinking the same thing about OCC .. :D I'd go with a dude with long hair, make him match his chopper ... nice work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/229014-captain-on-bike/#findComment-2746695 Share on other sites
Battle Captin Torodin
i have done similar conversions in the past and have used different parts to lengthen the front forks, but i have never though of using the barrels of lascannons. (i think thats what they are) brilliant idea! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/229014-captain-on-bike/#findComment-2747774 Share on other sites
