Age of Darkness - Rebirth

Recommended Posts

There be SPOILERS ahead!

Ok, I just finished reading rebirth and I feel like it pretty much 100% confirms that the Blood Ravens were formed from the loyal Thousand Sons who fled Prospero before the siege. It ends with a Thousand Son named Arvida surviving, saying he is going to find the rest of his brethren that fled before the siege and find out why the Thousand Sons fell and correct the mistake. He is a member of the Corvidae cult and it talks about his cult's symbol, the black raven head, being on his shoulder guard and then he says (to himself for some reason) "Knowledge is Power." Which I mean, thats the Blood Ravens slogan.

I don't think it could be an more obvious that the Blood Ravens are in fact descendants of the Thousand Sons unless GW flat out said it was true.

What are your thoughts on this and how do you feel about it being confirmed. I feel this makes the

Blood Ravens

a much more important part of 40k lore. And what do you thinks this holds for them in the future?
