Current forum Blood Claws?

Ok. This may sound a bit sad but.....

After the time I've been on here, I've noticed a few charactors who seem to have joined in at a similar time. Whether in the descriptive brawls or asking those questions which need answers. These people have helped me realise what Space Wolves, more than other armies, are about. I thought it would be nice to name and shame, try and describe, and eventually, make a Blood Claw unit in miniature with these charactors in. So here's who I have so far:

 

FORTÉ: Myself. Bran Redmaws company and possibly wolf bitten. Favours axes over chainswords. Ties long and shaggy hair back in a pony tail when he can be asked revealing shaved sides and tattoo over right ear. Loves to get stuck into a fight in every way. Weapons or not, doesn't matter. Model wise, running low and growling face.

 

AREZ 'GREENHORN': Common sparing partner and regular brawler with Forté. Often shows a nievity which led to the Greenhorn nickname (which does his head in). Longs to be aloud to ride a Thunderwolf and use lightning claws. Always gets stuck in to a fight. Model, running (to get there before Forté) possibly two chainswords.

 

POSTAL: Another brawler but a bit more methodical than out and out rage. Battles with words too. Seems to finish the first three nicely. Model, not too sure but possible power weapon user.

 

MAVS GIRL: The thinker. Asks the questions and shows a wisdom which equals the first threes gusto for fighting and drinking. More level headed and likely to keep the others in line. Model, still in the one size fits all power armour but with a head from a necromunda escher. Special weapon user as more sensible.

I'm not sure if I qualify as a bloodclaw, but on this forum I'm quite short on tooth. I would like to be visioned as a pup on his way for wolf priestdom. Bolt pistol and a power weapon at hand. Clean shaven head and a goatee (like irl). Perhaps corvus armor with a skull of a traitor on belt (seeing as my opponent plays chaos).

More of a lurker, but what the hell. I tend to read the discussions more than contribute because I am still very green and a in a bit of awe of most lf the gang here. The other half of it is my hours make it difficult to get much game time much less painting.

 

I would venture to say the I am likely to be either a rune priest or a scout in the future, that is if I survive being a blood claw. I have a tendency to try to sort things out before jumping into the fray. Almost hanging back to wait for the approriate opening to make myself known. I know that isn't the typical space wolf, but then again I am not typical.

May be a while while I get my long fangs done but this will give me inspiration and has already brought a few new pups out of hiding.

My Great Company is Bran's at the moment, but wavering with a considerable amout of Sven at times. I would like to be armed with either an axe, not exactly the most subtle, or claws since I have a tendency to want to get up close and personal with an opponent. Either that or the mark since when I do get annoyed enough I have a tendency to get off the leash so to speak. Right now the colors I am working on my troops is sort of a hybrid. Deep bluish grey. I have had some sucess mixing a charcoal grey with vellejo's sombre grey in a 50\50 mix as a base. My skills are very very limited at the moment so I am working slowly. Once I have a pack done I will try to take a photo and post it for c&c.

 

And thank for the welcome forte. As I said I have a tendecy to lurk.

When the Wolf King returns for the wolftime, you may change your name to Iron Horn or Blood Horn. But until that happens, the name I gave you remains the same. I have 15 Blood Claws in my army, and yours will have this head. http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/product_info.php/...ior-head-p-1099 He'll be painted black, and his horns painted with an eery green glow.. taken from a daemon with green horns, that you've luckily killed in hand to hand combat as a young Blood Claw (When in truth, your pack mates helped you take him down, you did the killing blow)

Nice I feel like i should bite :D but after nearly close to a year of SW i dont rlly see myself as a noobie :ermm: I've always seen my self as the slow and careful wolf so more the WP.

For what I play, I play one of the lost companies who still honour Russ to these days an have nearly 1500 points (im at skl so proud)

*insert sarcasm* Aye, I've been playing wolves since Rogue Trader days and early 2nd Edition so that should make me a Wolf Lord. All jokes aside, rank here at the Fang is measured not by how long you've played as a Space Wolf.. sure that helps but it's more about how much you take part in the forums, and interactions with other Space Wolves. We are a social bunch, strong in camaraderie, it's easy for anyone to walk in and say what I said earlier and give yourself a rank. Your pack brothers give you, your place and rank. Like respect... you earn it, you don't wear it.

There are a couple of other names which have come to mind too but I'm not sure if they are BC?

Wow never knew sarcasm could be inserted. And being English, I've never used sarcasm and wouldnt spot it if highlighted.

 

The reason I've been so active on here is the camaraderie and even though I've also been playing since rogue trader and did a few years working for GW, I'm more than happy to brawl with the newbies and have my own history on here develope. Just like those who have been on here for years and have pretty much answered every question many a time.

I say embrace the name. I would say your model has a green signal horn on his belt. Call it the Kraken's Horn. You took it as a trophy after killing a Sea Dragon.
