Montuhotep
Okay, simple one: I have a desert-themed DIY chapter on an ancient Egyptian motif; sort of similar to how the T-Sons are but to my mind more realistic. Now in the past I have raided the Tomb Kings range for suitable bits (khopesh swords and so forth) as have every TS pre-Heresy player before me, but now it's getting somewhat formulaic and that worries me. Specifically I'm looking for 'Bit' suggestions to represent a chaplain's crozius (did think of the tail pieces of Sepulchral Stalkers, but they're way too large) and something to use as a Seismic hammer on an Ironclad - tricky, I know, but has anyone some input? DarkMark
Hi, Scribor does a bunch of egyptian themed conversion parts that are well worth a look: http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?group=72 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/229339-egyptian-theme-bits/#findComment-2751296 Share on other sites
Durus
Wargods of Aegyptus by Crocodile Games should have lots of useful bits for this. +edit+ Here's the only store. They have separate categories for weapons, shields and "artefacts", i.e. bits. Montuhotep
I've tried the Wargods stuff before, but sadly the majority of it is too small - it's proper 28mm instead of the 'heroic 28mm' that we all know from GW. I suggest some bits from WHFB Tomb Kings. Their magicians have staffs and batons that you could consider. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/229339-egyptian-theme-bits/#findComment-2753538 Share on other sites
Brother Karr
I second the new tomb king models for sources of weapons and shields and other bits if your wanting to do an army in this theme. Also I would suggest this site for Resin Bases if your interested in them Temple of Isis Round Bases I will say they are out of my price range considering the exchange rate of Euro to US dollar. But being in the UK I suspect for yourself (Original Poster) You may find them a bit more affordable.
