Fair enough. I could say it's broken - but that doesn't excuse me for not fixing it yet. :nuke:

Bugger, forgot to fill in the back bit there between the torso and hips. There will be a chainmail sculpt finish to it.

Pah! retro PC games are the best... And i love the pose man! He looks like he is about to take the legs out from underneath someone... :)

Thanks guys.

Ok, so for a few moments when getting the parts together for this one I panicked a little. I had a aobr dread set aside and totally forgot about the fact I needed two dccw arms. I remembered that I had this BA libby dread I did for a local store(that I got back for free, yay!) and went on the search. About 1hr and 30 min later I found it, in the place I had looked 3 times  . I literally looked in every box of 40k I have.

Anyways, I took the Ba dread and stripped it right back then built it back up with new parts and BT icons/gubbins etc. Also had a randon set of BA furioso talons/stubby hands lying around, which was handy(pun intended). :P

I've rambled enough now and if you know my stuff I love :P Dreads, so I present honored brother Tolek, standing ready to smash the enemies of the Emperor.

Theres a little dagger hanging by a chain on the cloth by his grion. Hard to see. Also on the dread right(our left) shin guard I had a go sculpting Tolek's name. Should be good once painted.

It's a little messy due to having been painted before and stripped back. But all shall be clear when painted.

*compares Dreadnought on laptop to Dreadnought on shelf. Hangs head in shame*

What an awesome dread Eberious. Really lovin the extra bits you have added. What did you use to hold the sword in place? Is that bits from the vehicle sprue?

Again, Awesome.

I'am impressed and Honored Eberious!

Nice modeling, like the pose and looks really awesome! don't mind the colors, going through a paint job right now, but smashing and burning xenos and heritics takes priority!

No Pity! No Remorse! No Fear!

Burn Heritics! Tolek Smash!

Thanks very much all.

@Roesor. Yes,... they were. I was once in the thought train of build one and never take it apart and buy a new one for something else, even if that thing was never used..ever. Like tastes that changed, the main reason being far to expensive, the second being that little voice in the back of my head saying 'you have far to much stuff that lives in a drawer that hasnt seen light in years'. So, nowadays since the start of my BT army revival I have vowed not to buy a new model(excluding bits for this project and the revival project) till such a time when I have exuasted models I can use to complete my goal.

Saying that I bought 2 brand new landspeeders, but I needed them. :)

@Templar14. "bewildering technicolor Tolek", it is a bit isnt it, lol.

@Ryld. Yup, its the little tow bar thingys with the nubby bits cut off the side.

@Tolek, thanks dude. The pose is vaugely based on the one in our codex, but leaning the other way. And yes, function over form. Funny enough, that "Tolek smash" was one of the things running in my mind but couldnt quite get a good enough smashing pose.

Thanks all,

@ScottishSmurf96. Its not for eating, he'll give you terrible heart burn if you do. Also theres a chance of choking to death. So watch out for that. Nopyates on the other hand are small and easy to swallow, I hear they tase like chicken.

@Roesor. A Techmarine you say, never use them but I understand why you would suggest one. So had a looky and a think and I might just make myself. But no, I want planning to make a model to represent me. I've made a few versions of "me" in the past but nothing that I stuck my name to. I was kinda going to ask and hope when the project comes to a close one of you guys would make me?
