I dont know how you pulled off such an awesome model with the very little information I provided. Its everything I saw in my mind and then some. Simply amazing brother!

 

I have decided that after I finish my LPC im putting up the paintbrushes for awhile as I am completely disappointed in all of my models. But I would love to atleast convert a model for you in my army Eberious as a thank you for including me in this project. PM me if youre interested.

Well I'f you still got some Initiate space, I was thinking of gun holstered with an eviscerator chain-sword, and tons of purity seals( specially over the back almost forming a cloak? 'ish look unless thats a bit too much.), and a knightly templar helm, they always look cool, was thinking his left arm could be shielded? with pad etc, and ofc a overused tabbard. ^^

Fighting style.. hmm Gung ho? were black templar, as for heraldry etc.. not too sure atm :).

Ok Brothers and Honorable Eberious.

I made a Techmarine awhile ago painted and all, using bits and mashing all types of components I found (in toys and various stuff) to create him. I never did name him or title him but now I feel now is the perfect time and opportunity to Title and Name him.

The pictures are in my gallery if you all would like to see some of the process it took to create him.

Wow, thanks for the comments/new titles guys they have certainly brought a smile to my face, keep this up and I'll turn into Marshal Wilhem. :lol: . I jest Wilhelm. But seriously, makes me happy and keeps me motovated that so many of you are taking an interest in my stuff. Certainly makes me want to add more members from BT forum to my crusade.

 

@Roesor. Little Black templar space marine babies. However I think my missus will object. :lol: So we'll have to be discreet about it.

 

@reckoning34. Glad you like it. I pictured how he would come into the possesion of the chainsword. A brutal ambush/attack on his squad that left him alive with a debt to settle. With bolter ammo spent he picks up his fallen brothers chainsword and readies himslef for the charge, screams "I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON" then lets loose at the soon to be dead alien scum.

 

And would be an honour to fight in all of you're crusades. I have no preffered unit/style. So if you are thinking of including me in your army then I will let you decide where/what/my appearance will be. Will be fun to see what you all come up with.

@Tolek. A running tech marine in full servo harness, with a bolter! I'm loving it brother and the new title. I'm actually a little lost to what parts you used on the harness. The claw thing, is that a ork or skaven bit? and the lower right weapon/tool I don't recognise from anywhere? or even the gripper on the top left.

Recently been elevated as a knight of the inner circle by a unanimous vote of the Sword Brethren and succeeded Jurisian, deceased on Armageddon at Hive Helsreach. Eberious has never let his role within the chapter keep him from glorious combat as he leads the armored formations and vanguard companies of the Eternal Crusade into the thickest of fighting. I still cant get over the chain dangling off the chainsword he's wielding. A subtle addition, but really portrays the, "I took this weapon from my fallen brother, and now all of you will die!" characteristic I was going for.

 

Hopefully the model Im creating can be equally awesome. Although that is a tall order.

I did use some ork parts as well as parts from an old tabletop game know as "Mechwarrior: Dark Age" I had some spare vehicles (I never liked vehicles in the game) so I destroyed them to get parts.

@Tolek. Ah, that will be why I dont recognise some bits than. I do love stripping old models/toys for unique parts.

 

The more I think about making one proper model for myself and the master of the forge title being bestowed upon me the more I want to make something for myself. Been toying with an idea and lets just say its a 2 part Tech-Machine! Its my birthday on this thursday so will see how the b-day money gifts go, as this idea will totally be a self indulgent non-playable model/s.

 

Anyways project update. Now I had no prob finding the pic he posted for me to follow with this one when I was at home. But for some reason now that I'm at work I cant seem to find it. Been through the entire thread 3 times now. :lol:

@Roesor. I am indeed an Aries. Happy birthday for sunday. I think theres about 5 of the main list left to do. Feel free to start your story though. But if you want to wait till finished everyone, I would say maybe about another week. Then the painting can start.

The B-day cash flow is gooood!, and still havent seen everyone. Looks like that model to represent myself is probably a GO!. Just to figure out scale and the right plastruct supplies, also just got a 25% off voucher at maelstrom games so that will help.
