@Glaeken Templaris. Yeah thats fine, will be the last chaplin in the army as have lots already(for now anyways).

It was an okay birthday, woke up around 11am on a couch half my size and groggily made my way back home an hour away and got cake and such. And, a camera -eyes sparkle- If all goes according to plan, you may actually be seeing my models Brothers. WHich would encourage me to do them better no doubt.

@Roesor. Sounds like a good night, I'll be looking forward to seeing your crusade. I got a cake made by my missus and my 4 year old, it had a BT cross and skull in the centre, yay! twas a good cake.

 

@M2C. Erm. I dont really have any. Never wrote anything for it as not a strong point of mine. But I see why you ask ( I think) for the other thread you opened for keeping the BT memebers crusades together. Either way I will have a try and come up with some stuff to flesh out my crusade.

 

Little break at the moment guys, painting some little ships for another game system. Can then come back to 40k, don't want to burn out the creative jucies and effort at 100%. Few days tops.

Hey Eberious, sorry for not saying how awesome your models are for so long (because they are) :lol: , I wasnt on BC for awhile. Hmmmm dreadnoughts are cool, but chaplains are just as cool so im not jealous of the great model you made for Tolek. The guy with the mohawk is pretty refreshing, but all the models are great! I managed to get alomst a whole day to myself uninterupted by small Neophytes and the missus was busy doing her thing so managed to get Draco made in one go. Yay!

Thanks for the commects guys, I know I said a few days tops so cant belive how fast time has pasted by since I last posted. Shifts been all over the place at work and as mentioned, painting little space ships at the moment with my spare time. However should have more posted here shortly for those checking.

ok, for those on this list who wanted to join and have'nt given a description please do so. One thing though, apart from the people on the list that have already given what they would like, please if you want a power weapon I have only..about 5 places left for that and no more chaplins as full.

i would be... an Initiate with a power sword and combat shield (which would be white with a black templar cross) The sword would be broken in half (raggedly) with the broken half embedded in a dead ork that is at my feet. I would want a corvus helm (I love the beak!) and no tabbard or cloak, plenty of battle damage from hard fighting! I would also appreciate when it comes to painting if I could have a white stripe down the helm with a green stripe inside that one?

Hey Eberious, I'm just looking to be an Initiate, with a Chainsword and Bolt Pistol. I would like a Beaky Helmet if possible. Maybe a greenstuff cape? Lots of purity seals. If you do a cape, it would be neat if it could have a big Cross on the back.

That's indeed a lot of Templar Bits!

 

I also like the models, especially the Castellan. Very good dynamic pose, and good choice using the DC legs. I've been considering ninjaing them from my Templars once I buy a DC kit for allies, it would work great for a jump chaplain.

 

Also good to see I'm not the only one using the double skull shrine thingie as a mace head! I like the chaos helmet, too.

Great work brother, if your looking for a great screaming head to use, i used one of the masters of the chapter heads for my sceaming chaplain and it looks the dogs lol.

Cant wait to see more of your wonderful conversions.

Neat. Though, on a related point, I noticed that a certain Chaplain of Doom didn't make it onto the painting block for your recent challenge completion. :)

 

Also on Galadren, quick question: to get the knees smooth, did you simply sand and/or file? Been thinking of using roughly the same pose for a character whenever I get back to work on my lil dudes in black. Also been thinking of using those shoulder pads from Imperial Guard tank commanders to cover them, if I can get the fit right...

 

Ahh, to be a mad artificer. I blew seemingly all of my creative genius on my bikes :wacko: But you, you seem to crank these out like your species reproduces through sudden bursts of plastic and insanity.
