Merkava
Okay Draigowing and I have Draigo, Libby, 3 paladin squads and a teleporting dreadknight just for giggles. Now the first paladin squad is a banner with 4 halberds (16 attacks on the charge at I6 thank you!), the other squad has the swords for the +4 invulnerable save with 1 daemonhammer for anti tank(?) and apothecaries all around. Now what do you think I should do with the last squad? This is just a fun list but I'd like it somewhat playable. The points are spent so I'm limited to halberds, swords and hammers. Suggestions? nurglez
I prefer to have a mix in my squads. For every 5 pallies I try to have 3 halbards, 1 hammer and 1 sword or falchion. To help with wound allocation shenanigans :P Also so each squad can deal with a vehicle or walker. As well as infantry. I don't have an apoth or banner in any of my squads either... Guessing you are playing at 2000 points? Zagman
I run this squad setup as I believe that specializing paladins squads is inefficient. Paladins can be quite good against a variety of opponents and should equipped to handle any situation.
