Grizzly Adams Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 welp, started a Space Wolves Army, and started readin the fluff and fell in love with ol' Gunnar Red Moon, anyone who will drive a Land Raider into the ocean to whoop a Tau's ^_^ is a friend of mine. I agree with Snorkle, the Rhino looks a tad flat. I think if you applied a black wash it would help. The Moon on the top hatch looks a little streaky, may need another coat. I really dig your lord! :rolleyes: yeah we get 'em hooked when they are blood claws, but we offer a great dental/health plan so it all works out. I wen't with Badab Black on my Blood Angels, so i am tryin to give the Wolves a lil different look. But yeah, it definitely needs somethin, for sure. Thanks for all the replies/suggestions and such, and let me ask you guys a question. I have never worked with snow basing before, does anyone know the best stuff to use and how to do it? Base with unsprayed sand on the base, sparsely apply white sprayed sand, building it up in some areas to resemble snow banks, then add a patch of dead looking static grass and your good to go! http://salmondworks.com/blog/wp-content/up.../11/base-54.jpg Should turn out similar to the base in the bottom right hand corner, but I would use less grass and leave some sand exposed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
