Space Wolf Codex (counts as pre heresy thousond sons)

Recommended Posts

ok I am COMPLETLEY unfamiliar with codex space wolves and have played them once with the new dex. I am creating a 2000 point pre heresy thousand son army (ironic im here eh! PS STILL LOYAL!)

Would it be viable to use this dex i really only play friends so nothing major.

I am thinking of having the army led by 2 sorcerers followed by very elite units, termis, landraiders tacticals.

what do you drunken lot think.

Some tasters

Personally, I think the Brotherhood Champion trumps the Lone Wolf.. especially when compared to cold, calculating Thousand Sons.

I do agree with the Grey Knights codex working suitably for Thousand Sons. Both are nearly purely psyker marines. Don't get carried away, though, and start thinking you can have some "possessed" Dreadknight or Stormraven, etc.

honestly seeing as I find the giant baby harness retarded in the first place a possessed exoskeleton with no pilot would be an improvement.

the dreadknight would look much cooler if it had a cockpit.

if he left out the pilot it could represent some of the robots the 1000th sons used to attack the fang ;) although i haven't read battle of the fang so i'm not sure if they fit the description

Well "A Thousand sons" described one of the cults as being able to "possess" and control everything from combat droids to even a minor Titan.

Well.. so much for my theory on possessed dreadknights being overkill...

This is apparently to be showcased in one of the big Gamesday battles.
