Brother Cambrius
Nice work! :) The skulls look a little comical in the purity seals but I really do like htis. I'd only recommend making it look more worn and/or used to give it that grimdark feel of the 40k universe. Solid Zaku
It's a great start, but I will say that they look very 'Play-Dough' at the moment. Try looking at your local hobby store for actual wax sealing kits. They'll not only look better as a medium, but they'll also look less goofy in scale. Heroic scale does not come off well in the real world. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230142-imperial-tome/#findComment-2764450 Share on other sites
RamrodMC
I'd also recommend soaking the rags in water with a little bit of coffee mixed in, and then letting them dry in the sun. This will give them an aged look. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230142-imperial-tome/#findComment-2764508 Share on other sites

The ironfoot
using tea instead works rather nicely as well, at least you have less of a smell problem. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230142-imperial-tome/#findComment-2764528 Share on other sites

mitchell93
Why does it say semen next to the =I=? Great idea. Did your friend like it? It's latin for something (google translate wasn't to helpful lol). I like it but i think the wax seals are a bit chuncky though.
