Hemal
They've said they'll be covering the other marks at the last FW open day but won't be doing the Mk III armour. They said (and I have to agree here) that the Mk III is more of a specialised armour than an assault suit. They are very nice though and I look forward to seeing more of them. Now see, I never got that. I understand the Mk.III being developed mainly for boarding actions, enclosed spaces and firefights, but wouldn't Assault Marines face just as much firepower when leading a charge? Aren't Assault Marines the one section of a Space Marine group that suffers severe causalities, therefore wouldn't it make sense for them to have a heavier armour? (And the jetpacks should have more than enough thrust to lift a Mk.III wearing marine into combat) MKII was specifically designed for the confines of tunnels during the invasion of the (Censored by the =][=) Homeworlds in the galactic core. Assault marines wore both TBH - the Iron Armour was poorly protected from the back section compared to MkII so giving it to a unit that might end up fighting enemis from all directions doesn't make sense. The Mk II was mainly reserved for boardin actions and also ceremonial duties (interesting that FW are releasing a FW MkII Assault Captain at Games Day...)
