I hope, you enjoy it and this miniatures ;) this will keep me motivated. I think to do update every week, so you all gonna see progress of my army. What is your red recipe please? There are a few mould lines you missed on the tactical squad's legs. I will certainly be following this thread. DarkVen Posted May 20, 2011 Author Share Posted May 20, 2011 2 Brother Dallo I have two different recipes for my BA's: one for infantry and dreads, one for big tanks. The first is here. I just add more water to blood red and paint two layers over dark flesh. The second: I give a tank to my friend :) he undercoats it with mechrite red with spray gun. I convert librarian for a month (because of my lazyness <_< ), and now work is not far from end. I need to add wings on he's breast plate and hornes to a skull. I needed Libr in my army - Shield is a great psy-power in front of LR or Leman Russ. Unleash Rage (or Blood Lance (or MoH)) is another great one, so librarian is cool HQ and "booster" for assault squads -_- . But I really don't like idea, that guy with jump pack can wear tabard (or something else) - it can just burn up. Because there's no librarian without tabard, I decided to convert my own :D . I've inspired with Libr-dread - head from a sg fits this guy perfect - and librarian with staff and book. In the end, there's something common with a librarian from a dex-art... although I'm not willing to and not thinking about it :) . What do you think about this miniature? I've searched in my archives for some old pics - and I found something. First of all, pics of progress with chaplain: Here are bits, that I used doing chaplain (command squad, death company, sang-guard, csm pack). It got some history behind. Originally, I wanted to collect vanilla marines - I've bought two tactical squads, then commander, then command squad... and then I started collect my ork army. And a bit later (several months) I bought sang-guard - it was May, or even June, so it have passed some time since BA release. I bought them, because I needed their chestplate for Grand Count of my DIY chapter :) but at home, later, I decided to build sang-squad. Then I bought Astorath for my collection... and then I forgot about DIY chapter and started collect BA :P and every old mini, such as chapter champion, apothecary, some veterans and so on were to be remaked. As a base for my chaplain conversion I took body of chapter-champion. Because I've got nothing more :) This is very simple conversion, done in hour, I think.
