Crusader_Mateus
I have a tourny in two days time and my Forgeworld Dread TLAC arms won't be here on time. How can I make an acceptable proxy in such a short amount of time. We have a few at the store who are VERY whiny about WYSIWYG. Also, I have no access to anything other than sprues! Any cheap, quick alternative will do! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230228-dreadnought-modelling/ Share on other sites
BERZERKER!
The aegis defence line has a quad autocannon that splits nicely into to twin linked for dread arms... no so cheap though. BassWave
Straws for the canon barrels and a box for the shoulders. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230228-dreadnought-modelling/#findComment-2766380 Share on other sites
Hemal
AMen to that. Matchbox and straws painted in teh same colour as the armour for now, and then TL AC when they arrive. Aegis defence ine is the easiest way in my opinion but since you only need it for a weekend presumably, I won't bother on that expense. Tanhausen
The white plastic round things they use to prevent the pizza in delivery from being squashed... should work decently also IMO... snip of the "legs", but they might be a bit short. On the plus side, you get to eat pizza xD Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230228-dreadnought-modelling/#findComment-2767811 Share on other sites
chromedog
Spare missile pod? Spare tubing (chupa chup sticks? other plastic sticks from lollipop things) - the chupa chup sticks can be glued with plastic glue, btw.
