Taz
I've finally got a little money together to start magnetizing my models. I'm sitting here looking at all the magnets I can get on K&J's website and I'm wondering what the best size to get would be for infantry models. I know there's a size that would fit in the hole left by my hobby drill. I just don't know which one it is. Anyone know? Thanks in advance. tubby131313
The size of the magnets depend on what you need them to hold. Here are the sizes I use for Space Marines Head - 1/16" x 1/32" Arms Plastic - 1/8" x 1/32" Arms Metal - 1/8" x 1/16" Legs - 1/8" x 1/32" Backpack - 1/8" x 1/32" Jump Pack - 1/8" x 1/32" Remember to make a test model and use it to make sure you put the magnets in correctly. Nothing worse than finishing your work only to find out that some off your arms were polarized incorrectly and won't stay in place. This is how I polarize mine http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h97/tubby131313/poles.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230265-best-size-magnets/#findComment-2766275 Share on other sites
