KAINE-77 Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Hey, After a break from Marines (the Dark Eldar caught me in a Shardnet), had a strange urge to try my hand at the Sons of Russ... Here's what we've got so far: http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j407/Khaine77/SAM_0038.jpg Spent ages trying different greys for the armour, still not 100%, but this guy is gonna join either Bran Redmaw's Great Company or Erik Morkai's. Still a fair bit to do, battle damage, final round of highlights etc, but wanted some feedback on the the Grey really before I commit to it on my other models. C&C always welcome! The pictures don't really show any of the highlights, they are pretty subtle even up close, because I don't want the jump to be to huge, but maybe it's too subtle... :) Or it could just be rubbish photography!
