Regardless, i realize most everyone is here to lurk and look at pictures, but i must (characteristically) offer some back story first: I have been collecting Dark Angels forever it seems, they were my first army when i picked up the hobby (probably when i was like 13-14 or so) and right from day one, i fell in love with the Deathwing (Duh). I have always been more of a converter for the love of the hobby rather than a hardcore, tournament player (and thus sadly why most of my conversions will probably never be painted). Anyway, ever since the new[-ish?] Dark Angel codex came out i wanted to convert a really sweet Deathwing Command Squad. These guys have been around for some time, but i have just been too lazy to upload pictures of them. (ill take requests for close-ups on certain models if needed) ...oh and sorry if some of the shots are kinda blurry/fuzzy, my camera kinda sucks... ...oh and also, i really hate working with green-stuff for some reason (its probably because im very lazy) and so i try to do as little converting with it as possible; however i recognize that all these models have tabards at their feet yet none on their chests (save for the old metal SM Captain, the Veteran Sergeant and the Space Hulk model) and as such i know i will invariably have to suck it up and green-stuff tabards onto the chests at some point... cathar the great Posted May 24, 2011 Share Posted May 24, 2011 Fantastic. You just can't go wrong with Terminators. The old Terminator Captain mini is a tad smaller than new Terminators, so you could modify his base so he stands a bit higher than the others, on a piece of stone or ruins. That way he looks more like their commander and not like the Brother Tinypants who they have to drag along out of sheer embarassment. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mine didn't come out so well the first go around. Do you have any WIP shots of those? Perhaps a close up of the champion?
